Vegan apple pie

I hope you’re able to make it to your local apple orchard this fall season! If so, make sure you take home plenty to whip up a classic apple pie, but the vegan version!

This was by far the most authentic to the original apple pie version I could find. It uses all of the classic spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla for that cozy, warming taste of fresh fall pie.

Then this recipe also offers a tutorial to teach you how to get the perfect lattice layers that can somehow be really difficult if it’s your first time trying it!

And if you don’t make it to the apple orchard, I hope you at least make it to a pumpkin patch!

Many grocery stores are starting to carry more and more pumpkins, I’ve noticed, so you’ll hopefully have a wide selection to make a couple of pumpkin pies this season.

Out of all of the pies on this list, these definitely freeze the best if you want to extend fall a bit longer!

Best of all, this recipe actually uses a gingersnap crust to make it just a tad bit extra special!

Vegan cranberry pie with walnut strussel

Add a zing of tartness to your dessert table with this yummy cranberry pie!

Pumpkins, pecans, and even apple pies are classics that have almost a grounding and soothing taste to them, so sometimes it’s fun to mix things up with a cheery and maybe even slightly sour treat!

The crumbly walnut crust definitely does balance out the tartness, though, and is really easy to make with just a few ingredients!

Vegan sweet potato pie with meringue topping

Is that meringue not gorgeous?! Rather than simply sprinkling on mini marshmallows, learn how to whip up a pillowy soft meringue that adds the perfect sweetness to the classic sweet potato base.

You may also be a bit surprised to hear, but this recipe also includes tofu, so you’re left with a classic sweet dessert with a touch of healthy filling goodness!

Finding holiday treats that can truly work for anyone coming to celebrate can be really difficult, but this pecan pie has achieved that!

It’s dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and coconut-free (just not nut-free, of course!), making it the perfect dessert to finish off a friendsgiving gathering or fall dinner party since hopefully everyone in your group can enjoy it!

Vegan salted caramel apple pie

I’m all for replicating classic recipes in a vegan version, but I was super excited to see this salted caramel apple pie recipe!

It’s like a slightly elevated and special version of an apple pie, I’m sure you’ll fall in love with!

It has caramel both inside and outside the pie, making it the perfect warm base for a cold scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Best vegan pie-making favorites

Use whatever pie-making materials you already have, but if you need some new pieces, the ones below are what I would recommend!

The ceramic dish can be used again and again, while the mini pie dishes are easily disposable if you’ll be gifting any of these pies!

Lastly, you can never go wrong with oven mitts that have silicone on the outside to better protect your hands and will offer a solid grip on your pie as you pull your sweet creation out of the oven!
