Vegan Valentine’s Day Treats

I tried to include mostly vegan Valentine’s treats in this list, but for the recipes that are not vegan, here are a few vegan substitutions you can use:

When it comes to baking, I have found that flax eggs and oat milk work the best as substitutes for regular eggs and milk! Making your treats vegan is a great way to include more people that have dietary restrictions and allergies, which is especially helpful for school parties and bake sales!

I hope these swaps make it easier for you to spread the love to everyone this Valentine’s Day!

Best Homemade Valentine’s Day Treats Recipes

Vegan Cherry Valentine’s Cookies

Aren’t the colors on these cookies just incredible?! When I make desserts for holidays I love when the colors are super vibrant to match the festive vibe.

These bright pink cookies get their colors from a hint of cherry, and the creamy vegan white chocolate chips balance out any tart flavor!

I could definitely see these being the centerpiece of a Valentine’s dessert bar or even a fun and festive bake sale treat! If you want a cookie that’s chewy yet bursting with flavors, these are the one’s I’d choose.

Valentine’s puppy chow

If you’re not much of a baker, this Valentine’s ‘s-themed puppy chow mix will be a lifesaver for you! I even found some vegan purple and pink chocolates that look similar to M & M’s if you’re making this treat for someone who’s vegan or gluten-free.

These treats would be perfect to setup on a dessert bar for guests to put in little cups or little treat bags. I really love these Valentine’s Day treat bags because they aren’t made of plastic, and you can fold them down or add a bow to keep all of the powdered sugar dust inside!

If you do decide to serve this at a Valentine’s Day party, I highly suggest using a mini scooper because the powder will go everywhere as people grab some!

Valentine’s conversation heart bark

Conversation hearts are the ultimate Valentine’s candy and are a must when it comes to treat making for this holiday! Unfortunately, they aren’t vegan but I do think you could make some cute sugar cookies shaped in a conversation heart shape if you wanted!

Free style it or just use some cookie cutters to get the look!

Either way, cookie and candy bark is always a crowd pleaser.

Valentine’s Charcuterie Board Chocolate Dip

The thing that I love about charcuterie boards is that you can truly plate just about anything which ensures that everyone can find at least something they enjoy or works for their dietary needs! This chocolate dip is perfect for fruit, crackers, or pretzels.

It’s sweet enough to still be a fun treat, but it’s made of cocowhip, so it’s light and leaves your taste buds room for all the Valentine’s candy you may have as well! If you do choose to make a platter like this, this heart bowl is the perfect touch to keep the theme going and of course can be used year round!

Chocolate Strawberry Cookies

Chocolate covered strawberries are the ultimate romantic Valentine’s Day treat, but why not have them in cookie form?! I have never seen a cookie like this, and I was really excited to find them.

They have a soft cloud like texture and perfectly blend the taste of sweet and tangy strawberries with creamy delicious chocolate.

To elevate them just a bit, sprinkle on some Valentine sprinkles just before the chocolate cools! I love that these are relatively simple to make but they’re a step up from a simple sugar cookie with red food coloring.

Vegan Linzer Cookies

Aren’t these darling!? I could see these being the perfect addition to a Valentine’s themed tea party or brunch. They are probably the most time consuming treat on this list but they are worth the effort for those you love.

Sometimes treats steal the show because they aren’t overwhelming ly sweet and I think these cookies are a great example of that as they have just a touch of jam for sweetness.

Valentine’s Red Velvet Vegan Cookies

If you need a quick one bowl cookie recipe this is the one to go for! I love the deep red color that is perfectly on theme, and you really can’t go wrong with simple chocolate chip cookies.

They’re always a crowd pleaser and are easy to warm up right before the party for that fresh out of the oven feel!

I personally just use food coloring when it comes to baking treats but you can always use something like fresh beets or beet powder if you want a more natural food dye option.

Valentine’s Chocolate Walnut Berry Raw Fudge

I wanted to add a healthier option to this list of sugary treats as well! Of course, these still have sugar but they are a bit lighter and rely on fruit as well for some sweetness.

All you need is about 20 minutes to whip these up since they are a raw treat (aka no baking!). If you want something creamy that you can easily customize with various fruits and nuts, these treats will be the best option for you!
