Easy Juicing Recipes For Beginners You’ll Wish You Tried Sooner
This post is all about the best juicing recipes for beginners you absolutely have to try.
Starting your juicing journey doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. Keep it simple with a few ingredients, a juicer (or even a blender!), and some creative combinations.
This collection of fresh-pressed juices is easy to prep ahead of time, actually tastes good, and will bring a diversity of nutrients to enhance your meal times!
I don’t juice all the time, but when I do, these are the exact recipes I stick to, and I really hope they become classics in your life as well!
Best juicing recipes for beginners
Easy green juice recipe
A green juice just had to be on this list because they are so popular for good reason!
What I love about green juices is that you can keep them simple with apples, spinach, celery, and maybe a citrus. If you want to spruce them up, you can, or even keep them basic.
The recipe above uses herbs for extra flavor, which I love, but if you don’t have that, just stick with what’s probably already in your fridge.
If you want your juice to have that deep green color, make sure to add plenty of spinach and kale. If you are truly new to juicing, using some celery and spinach is a great starting point with fresh-pressed juices because the flavor won’t be crazy strong!
Although making a juice like this with fresh produce will take longer than sipping on a powdered green juice, you will most likely end up with a much better tasting juice!

Berry juice recipe
Isn’t the color of this juice just stunning?!
Green juice isn’t for everyone, and that’s totally ok! It can kind of be an acquired taste, and some people really can’t get past that grassy flavor.
Even if you don’t like green juices, you can still reap the benefits of including raw produce in your day! This fruit juice uses blueberries, cranberries, pomegranate, and more.
I love the variety found in this juice, but even if you just want to bring it down to apples, cranberries, and beets, you’ll still get that bright red color, but with less ingredients.

Pineapple, orange, lemon, ginger, turmeric glow juice
I call this fresh juice the glow juice because that’s how I feel when I have it! I truly feel like I’m glowing from the inside out when I have the citrusy and sweet yet tangy juice.
With only 5 ingredients, you can easily pop these simple ingredients in your weekly grocery shop. Juicing consistently doesn’t mean juicing every day.
Even one fresh juice per week is a great place to start, and ingredients like pineapple and oranges can produce a large batch of juice since they have so much water. This juice recipe could even last you a few days if you wanted.

Ginger turmeric wellness shot
I absolutely love wellness shots (also called immunity shots) because you can make them in a large batch, freeze them, and thaw them in the morning.
You can simply make a smaller batch of the juice above or try out this recipe, which has a few unique ingredients for added wellness benefits.
Apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and cayenne definitely aren’t for everyone, but if you start to get bored with your juices, then they can add a nice twist to them.

Orange and carrot juice
I probably should have put this recipe first because it is only 2 ingredients, which is great for starting a new habit.
With just oranges and carrots, you can easily create a big batch of juice that isn’t super expensive either. Grab a large bag of each, rinse them off, and you’re basically good to go when it comes to prep time.
You’ll end up with a bright orange juice that has just enough sweetness. I think this juice is a good middle ground between a green juice and the other sweeter juices on this list (with pineapple and mangos) if you want a fruit juice that isn’t overwhelmingly sweet.

Pineapple mango juice
You may be surprised that this isn’t a dessert after trying this juice! Pineapple and mango are the stars of this juice, and if it’s way too sweet, you can always add water or coconut water to dilute it a bit.
Although this juice is only two ingredients, it will take a bit of prep time since you have to cut up the pineapple and peel the mangoes, but I promise it will be worth it!

How long does homemade juice last in the fridge?
These juices will taste the best when drunk quickly after preparation! You can leave them in the fridge or freezer for a couple of days if you don’t have time to enjoy them immediately. Just ensure they are in an air-tight container so they maintain their freshness.
What’s the difference between juicing and smoothies?
Juicing is when the liquid is extracted from produce, while smoothies are when the whole (or mostly whole) produce is blended. Juicing generally doesn’t have pulp, while smoothies do and tend to be a bit thicker. I’ve noticed that smoothies help me to stay full, while juices are refreshing and are a nice snack or addition to my favorite meals.
