How to make these Easter desserts vegan

The recipes on this list are NOT necessarily vegan, but it is super easy to make a few swaps to make them vegan.

Here are the swaps (and links to vegan products) I make when I find yummy and cute holiday recipes that I want to be vegan:

Best Vegan Easter Dessert Ideas

Peep bars

Peeps are such a classic Easter treat! Unfortunately, there isn’t really a vegan version of them, but I did link some pastel colored marshmellows below!

The mix of rich brownie or cake mix with light and fluffy marshmallows is the perfect balance for a yummy spring treat that people can grab and go on their Easter egg hunts!

Don’t forget to sprinkle on a few colorful chocolates for extra crunch, and you have an adorable Easter treat that’s super easy to make!

Peanut butter chocolate eggs

Reese’s Easter eggs are my absolute favorite! I’m so glad I found these vegan copycat ones, and the colorful sprinkles are the perfect festive touch.

Best of all, these only require a few ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.

If you’re running late to an Easter brunch, these are the perfect festive treat to throw together at the last minute. I also found these adorable reusable Easter molds if you want bunny shapes instead of eggs!

Bunny cake bites

You can’t tell me these aren’t the cutest Easter treats ever!!

Full disclosure, when I tried to make cake pops the first time, they turned out horrible, but I am looking forward to remaking them, and I think adding more details to them, like these bunny ones, will help to cover up any flaws as I bake!

I think making baby chicks to go with the bunnies would be really adorable as well!

Easter pudding cups

I didn’t even know vegan pudding mix existed, so this was a fun find!

With a bit of pastel food coloring and patience to stack each ingredient, you’ll be left with these adorable Easter-themed pudding cups!

Individual dessert cups are perfect for Easter parties because each guest can grab their own treat, and you don’t have to worry about layering a larger dish. These little cups will be their own type of decor on your Easter dessert table!

Bunny bait trail mix

This Easter bunny trail mix is such a great idea for Easter gifts or party favors! These type of mixes are generally crowd pleasers, and you can customize them however you prefer!

I found these adorable washable/reusable treat bags that you can fill with the bunny trail mix as well. Just a fun little touch if you want to elevate your gift a bit and not use a plastic bag!

I couldn’t find the adorable bunny sprinkles, but I did find these vegan pastel colored sprinkles that you can throw into your mix!

You can find the bunny bait trail mix here.

Bird’s nest cookies

These little birds’ nests would be perfect on their own, or I think they could be the perfect festive decor for cupcakes!

I couldn’t find vegan chow mein sticks so I just used vegan pretzel sticks!

If you only have a few minutes to whip up a dessert for Easter dinner, these are a perfect solution!

Italian Easter Cookies

If you want a more traditional dessert, just stick to simple pastel colored sugar cookies! I’m all for using cookie mix and premade frosting.

Don’t forget to sprinkle on some pink sprinkles to stay on theme, and you can easily batch create plenty of delicious Easter goodies everyone will enjoy!

Easter egg cheesecake bites

Simple, yet cute, these Easter-themed cheesecake bites are rich yet stunning and perfectly on theme.

All you need is some vegan cream cheese, coconut flakes, graham crackers, and a few other ingredients to whip up these grab-and-go treats!

I love the color of the vegan jelly beans below to mimic Easter eggs, but you could easily use vegan chocolates as well for a more cohesive, creamy flavor!
